The Smoking Gun has scanned the cards, notes, and gushes exchanged between President Bush and Harriet Miers.

Curious-est find I stumbled upon: “Dear Governor Bush: Than you so much for including me in your Juneteenth celebration.”

Lots of underlining. Lots of exclaimation points. And oddly overeager thank you notes. Miers sends Bush thank-you notes for the thank you notes he sends her. She also sends him a memo thanking him for considering (not accepting, just considering) her invitation she sent him earlier. Alas, no emoticons.
