From the AP:

When [Utah Governor Jon Huntsman] needs to see an e-mail, staff members print it out for him. When he communicates with them, he said he fills out one of three different styles of note cards. It’s what he did when he was a deputy U.S. trade ambassador and the note cards have served him well, he said.

It also helps the guv’nor duck public accountability. That’s because his e-mail is possibly subject to FOIA requests, but those notecards don’t generate backup copies and leave no digital traces of any kind.

After carrier pigeons relayed the Agitator’s request for clarification, Mr. Huntsman asked, “What’s a blog?”, and defiantly added he is “as comfortable with the latest technology as anyone.” He then climbed into his horsedrawn buggy and sped off.
