Hot Group Blog Action II

Tuesday, September 13th, 2005

I have several pressing projects coming up. I’m also spending next week in Seattle and Alaska, and taking a trip to Indiana in October.

So I’ve lined up a few guest bloggers to hold your interest while I’m otherwise occupied. I’ll still pop in, but much less frequently (which for me will still likely be once a day or so). Your introductions:

Rogier van Bakel is a well-published chap whose blog Nobody’s Business covers Nanny State, civil liberties, and personal freedom issues. He covers them with much of the same kind of snark and snap you see on these pages. I think you’ll like him. His first post is below.

Adrienne Aldredge is a health policy research assistant at Cato, and runs the sharp, funny blog the Dredge Report.

Glen Whitman is a brilliant professor of economics at Cal-State Northridge. His home blog is Agoraphilia. He’s great at explaining the economics of the everyday — flatulence, for example. He’s also the orginator and compiler of the “Two Things” meme, which I think he ought to turn into a short book.

Finally, Baylen Linnekin is the pop-culture savvy brains behind To the People, the best new blog in town, and — dare I say it — one that comes dangerously close to making libertarianism hip.
