I Get Email
Thursday, August 25th, 2005I suspect this guy isn’t alone:
I thought you might be amused at my journey. I was raised a country club Rockefeller/Nixon/Ford rebuplican. The Reagan message really resounded within me: smaller government, greater personal responsibility and greater personal accountablilty to myself, to God and to my fellow man. I am getting a little older and quite frankly I am carrying some of the consequences of past bad choices but I got off my butt and in 2000 worked hard on the ground for Bush II. Precicely because I believed Bush that he was telling the truth about fiscal responsibility in this disgusting glob called government. I was a fool.I am no longer a Republican. I don’t think it is possible to be a Republican and a conservative. I have begun praying nightly for a revolution in the United States of America. I own a signifigant portion of a manufacturing firm in Pennsylvania. As a result of the state legislature I am investigating moving the entire operation off shore. I have had it. Those 200+ jobs are not the only thing leaving the US – I have worked to hard for those I love to leave all of my wealth vulernable to socialists like Clinton or fake conservatives like Bush.
Reagan left the veto pen, Clinton may have sloten it – but some where in that God-Damn building is a pen and set of balls – I would like someone to find them both.
Too many people blame greedy business owners for taking jobs overseas. Not enough people blame myopic politicians for anti-business tax and regulatory climates.
