After the break, a few pictures from the Hirshhorn Museum, my favorite of the Smithsonians (frankly, the Smithsonians not related to art are generally pretty crappy).

The Hirshhorn features modern art.

This one was pretty damned cool, if uncomfortable. It’s a very realistic wax sculpture, about three times bigger than lifesize. The artist has some other really amazing stuff.

This one just creeped me out.
