If the Republicans know what’s good for them, they’ll give DeLay the Trent Lott treatment.

This is probably the most disgusting angle on the Schiavo case yet. Though if you have an ounce of cycnicism in you, you’d have guessed that politics has been motivating Delay all along.

Also, kudos to David Brooks.
