The Dept. of Homeland Security has ordered legal, non-criminal immigrants in eight U.S. cities to wear electronic ankle bracelets for monitoring, around the clock.

UPDATE: Steve Verdon, among others, says there’s something wrong with this — that it’s only illegals awaiting a court hearing who are being outfitted with a monitor. TalkLeft objects. Follow the action here.
