The hate mail I’m getting from the left is hillarious. In a column that begins by mocking Republican senators, suggests that right-leaning blogs are taking themselves too seriously, and criticizes those same right-leaning blogs for ignoring the Judith Miller controversy (I had more examples, but was limited for space), the lefties have seized on the one line about Jeff Gannon, and concluded that I’m a White House apologist on par with Ann Coulter. My guess that most of them read the Gannon excerpt on various lefty blogs and fired off angry email without ever bothering to actually read the column.
