US News reports that after hearing how “blogs” brought down Dan Rather and helped defeat Tom Dashle, several Republican senators have demanded staffers add a “blog” to their official websites. Even though, according to one tech consultant, many of them haven’t a clue what a “blog” actually is.

Hey, if Dan Rather hates them, I want one!
