Estrich Blows Low

Saturday, February 19th, 2005

Susan Estrich — who I’m convinced supplies the voice for South Park’s Ned Gerblansky — just wrote what I think might be the most offensive thing I’ve read in about a month.

Estrich is peeved that Michael Kinsley’s op-ed page at the Los Angeles Times isn’t publishing enough pieces written by women. Kinsely recently revealed he has Parkinson’s Disease. Here’s where it gets ugly. Writes Estrich:

…people are beginning to think that your illness may have affected your brain, your judgment, and your ability to do this job. The fact that you were not in Los Angeles all week hardly helps matters, nor does the fact that you don’t return phone calls. You are making things worse for yourself.

Eep.
