Bah, Humbug

The repudiation of altruism I wrote for Hong Kong’s Apple Daily ran on the Cato website yesterday. Longtime readers will recognize the Welch-Feuerstein anecdote.

The drive from D.C. to Indiana was in turn beautiful, treacherous, and mighty, mighty cold. There were stretches of I-70 where you could do 80, then within 1/4 of amile, the road would ice over and traffic would slow to 30. Parts of Ohio got only ice and very little slow. Combined with a bright pink winter sunset, it was pretty striking. Like an idiot, I snapped some picks from behind the wheel. I’ll post them soon.

I’m off to The Rematch right now. Look for me on TV! No worries, if I take a shot to the chops from Ben Wallace in Brawl, The Sequel and am able to retire on the settlement cash, I’ll probably still continue blogging. Here’s hoping Jermaine O’Neal goes for 50.

More later.
