His revolutionary idea: Congressmen should actually read pieces of legislation before voting on them.
How very sad that it needed to be said. It’s even more inexcusable when you consider the fact that Congress has already delegated a huge swath of its lawmaking power to the executive regulatory agencies.
And yet they still can’t find the time to actually read the remaining laws they pass, and expect us to follow.
