If It Means You’re Fired, and We Don’t Have to See You Anymore, It’ll Rank in My Top Five
Wednesday, November 3rd, 2004“This is the best election night in history.”
–DNC Chairman Terry McAuliffe, just before 8pm.
Though I was marginally rooting for Kerry, the upside to last night’s results will be watching the smug lefties try to make sense of it all.
I can’t wait for The Daily Show tonight.

Reverend Al and Bill Weld were the highlight of last night’s otherwise banal live Daily Show.
I feel much the same way… the idea of seeing Michael Moore upset and whiny over not getting his way and realizing that his mockumentary wasn’t enough to sway the election almost makes me feel less guilty about voting for W. Almost.
The Daily Show will still be funny.
Again, how can you “root” for Kerry as a self-proclaimed libertarian? Doesn’t make a lick of sense. Unless you suffer from flip-flop-idous like Kerry.
“I’m for small government but I root for candidates that have a clear history of making the scope of government larger.”
Uh???
And I cannot even imagine that the Iraq war issue would sway anti-war supporter to Kerry’s side. He voted “Yes” to the use of force and repeatly said that Saddam was a threat before and after that vote. He only “switched” after it was clear that Dean was not going to win the nomination.
On an interesting note, michaelmoore.com seems to be inaccessible…
ADDENDUM:
Okay, not completely out, but it’s kinda shaky. As of now, there’s no update on the outcome.
the repubs. are no longer the party of small government. a dem government would now be smaller. check clinton compared to bush.
The R’s are for smaller government as long as it’s a Democratic government or a split government. When it’s R-R-R, they’re not for smaller government at all. Sadly, that’s still better than the Dems, who are for growing government in all ways at all times.
