I have no idea why this excites me so, but it does. Sweet list. Thanks.

There’s a far more comprehensive list at http://www.fallacyfiles.org/

Of course, I’m a bit upset since my favorite fallacy, The Texas Sharpshooter Fallacy didn’t make the Adam Smith Institute’s list. ;>

Thanks for the link. Though not a list of logical fallacies, my favorite meta-list is at

    http://stommel.tamu.edu/~baum/ethel/atrios-dictionary.html

Which includes such entries as “den Beste ex machina – The creation of a fake political movement, such as Transnational Progressivism, that has virtually no basis in reality in order to disparage ideological opponents.”

A completely useless list that I will never use because it is useless and serves no use. However, I feel the same as Michael. I immediately forwarded the site to my fellow cretins.

Kerry did an outstanding job in the debate. Now more that ever I believe that he will win even before the Flordia vote count. Geeorge Bush in the debate has looked as he has always looked, Pitiful. Looks like the people who backed the swift boat ads attacking kerry mispent all that money. In other words, They were as evidenced by results, not too swift themselves. Jon How
