Does that mean the Colorado GOP will start campaigning in favor of proportional allocation of electoral votes, and the Democrats against? It’ll be interesting to watch if Kerry’s widens there. I’d love to see both sides completely reverse their positions, if only to confirm what we all already know about politicians. I still think Colorado will finally settle with Bush.
In other news, Kerry is leading the electoral college again. He has retaken the lead in Pennsyvania, and has also apparently pulled within the margin of error in Ohio, North Carolina, Virgnia, and Arkansas. Bush has pulled within the margin of error in New Jersey. Florida and Nevada are still tied.
I still think an electoral tie and all the fun that comes with it is very much a possibility, despite Bush’s 4-7 point lead in the national polls.
I agree. It’s also more likely that Kerry could win if Bush leads the final polls than Bush could win if the reverse was true.
