Funny thing is, Minnesota just went to .08. The state was one of the few remaining holdouts.
Guess lawmakers felt need to celebrate curbing Minnesotan drinking habits by…er…drinking.

Another odd coincidence: Minnesota is the home state of the founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. Or the birthplace of the treatment center. Google it, but you get the gist.
Not to mention that until July of last year all bars in the state had to close at 1:00am, it’s now 2:00am. The city of Mpls was forced to do this because the city was losing out on conventions and things like that due to the early bar time. Here is the real kicker. Liquor stores close at 8:00pm, except on Friday and Saturday, they are open til 10:00pm. This is true…
