Spot on, indeed. This is exactly my problem with activists of every stripe – they seem to believe they can just wish their brand of utopia into existence, magically and instantly, without a thought to how it will be done (or, often, how to convince others to want it to be done). Any attempt at incremental reform is decried as “selling out”, thus preventing any meaningful change from taking place.
