Marilyn Manson Has Done What The Nazis Couldn’t

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2003

Marilyn Manson has upset the Swiss.

From the article “[Manson] is under criminal investigation in Switzerland after a religious group filed a formal complaint about his stage act, saying Manson went too far by breaking laws in place to protect the sanctity of Swiss religion.”

Apparently, you can claim neutrality in the face of mass genocide and attempted world domination, but ripping up the Bible on stage is unacceptable.

Ah the old world-wide-war principle that everyone needs to take sides in every conflict (as if siding with Soviet Genocide against Nazi Genocide were a morally unambiguous choice). What a BS principle.

Switzerland is the most immoral country in the world. Their economy, in part, is based on the secret bank accounts of third world dictators who swindle their country’s wealth and other money launderers. It’s like running a shop that sells stolen goods.

Switzerland taking a stand as the world’s moral compass? Great, next thing you know Lybia will be on the UN’s Human rights commision and …oh wait…

I can’t stop thinking about Manson rubbing up against the security guard with his sweaty, clammy, bare butt, ewe… thanks Bryan

Lol, the Swiss are pretty amoral, one could argue they are pretty much the most pure capitalists going (at least their banks). They are the “data haven” of the last century.

It is a little known fact that Adolph Hitler had originally planned to rip up a copy of the Bible during a 1939 speech before the Reichstag, but he got wind that the Swiss and the Italians would get very upset and he knew that Germany wouldnâ??t have a chance at implementing his strategy of mass genocide and world domination without the assistance of the Romans, and the Swiss. So instead I think he tore up a copy of the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion.

perhaps they are really upset about what the article did not reveal…..that he used a Swiss Army knife to gut the Bible on stage.

Just because some people might be offended, how does that make Manson a criminal?

Jason what are you suggesting makes someone a “criminal”?

Aren’t all “Crimes” simply actions which offend people?

(where: “Harm” is a subset of “Offend”)

Anyone else find it odd that the people who are always decrying US getting militarily involved in other countries in the name of human rights are now frothing about the evils of the one country (Switzerland) that has consistently tried to follow their advice?

So which is it? Does a country have an obligation to prevent forceably prevent human rights abuses in other countries or doesn’t it?

I wish somebody’d just kick him in the nuts and be done with it.

Manson is simply a thespian selling his wares via a stage extravaganza.

I found his show, and the attendees, highly entertaining when I saw him perform the day before the Columbine shootings.

So you think the US, with taxpayer-funded military stationed in 109 countries at last count, is a better role model for a free society than Switzerland, with troops in zero countries?

I thought the Agitator was supposed to be pro-freedom. With friends like you, freedom needs no enemies.
