UPDATE: Looks like it took only about a half hour after this post for Johnson to take notice — but only to point out that it was in fact Israeli Arabs — not Jews — who got the organs. Thus, Johnson did take notice, but only for the sake of pointing out the story in no way undermines his general thesis that Arabs are vile, filthy, murdering animals.

RB said there was this cute story, and that CJ wouldn’t notice, because, essentially, he’s fantically anti-arab. Alright, fair enough. I mean, let’s be honest, CJ has been a valuable contributor to the middle-east discussion, because he’s willing to say some un-PC things that need to be said. But, he’s a little over-the-top. It’s an attack on CJ, no doubt, but it’s not comlete slander or anything. It was “provocative,” but not “incendiary.” And the folks in his comments sections, well, some of them are great, but some of them come across as wack-jobs.
So, RB points out that some of those wack-jobs have graced this comments thread and that one of them issued to him a death-threat. True or not, it doesn’t seem all that shocking. And, it’s not an attack on CJ, it’s an attack on those fringe wack-jobs, who, I think we all (except those fringe wack-jobs) can agree, show up on CJ’s comments sections. I don’t see the reason for CJ to get so worked up, and I hope he’s not wasting his time asking RB to verify the threat. That sounds like a 4th grade pissing contest. MY guess is that the CJ poster is an imposter. Hope I’m right. He’s not exactly attacking RB’s point (which I actually disagree with) on its merits.

A Palistinian Arab did something positive today. CJ didn’t mention it, because he is a racist bigot.
This whole affair smacks of adults acting like children. I suggest less computer time and more love of your fellow human beings (yes, even those with whom you disagree). This has gone way beyond the realm of thoughtful discussion and debate.
I read LGF on a regular basis, and for those who bother to actually read for comprehension, rather than for buzzwords, Charles (the real one, not the chameleon just above) posts those articles to point out the hypocrisy coming out of the mouths of these people. Their government says that they want peace, and yet they do NOTHING to stop what seems to be daily bombings in Israel, and treat a known terrorist as a government official.
Be that as it may be, Radley made a very serious charge by saying that an LGF “minion” made a death threat. By phrasing it that way, rather than saying that a regular reader of LGF threatened him, it can be taken that Charles is more directly involved. Given that, I think Charles is perfectly within his rights to request that Radley put up or shut up. If there was a death threat, then show the letter. Even better – go to the authorities with it.

As for death threats emanating from the LGF corwds – we see it in the comments weekly, so I see no reason to doubt that they are sent by mail, too.

I was under the impression that Hamas was an organization managed by wealthy Islamists (doctors, bankers). It has one branch that performs a charitable function and another branch that is an Islamist version of the KKK. Well, it kills a lot more innocent people than the KKK, but their racism, aggression and general fascist viewpoint is comparable. They even like to wear the same hoods.
I learned that by following the links to Muslim literature though LGF. That’s where I also learned that more than 50% of Hamasâ?? funds come from Saudi Arabia. On LGF, I also learned about the interesting sermons given by the mullahs every Friday. Since theyâ??re telling their followers that itâ??s okay with Islam to be a suicide bomber and kill lots of infidels, I thought this was something that I and every other infidel should know. I think Charles is doing a great job of showing people whatâ??s out there.
But maybe I donâ??t know enough. Iâ??m sure Radneyâ??s readers know a lot more about Islamic fundamentalism than I doâ?¦like about Sayed Qtub, jahiliyya, Shariah law, the events at Palestinian summer camps and The Covenant of the Islamic Resistance Movement.
Iâ??m sure you can all tell us all about these things, and point out where our impressions are wrong. If not, maybe you should read LGF more often.

I’ve enjoyed many of the articles you’ve written, but I think you’re being terribly unfair to Charles Johnson and LGF. You don’t have to believe that Arabs are “filthy, murdering animals” (and I know that Charles doesn’t believe this) to publicize the regrettably large amount of bad news coming out of the Middle East.
If you happen to disagree with anything that Charles has written, you would be more persuasive if you countered his specific statements with facts and reason, instead of demonizing him with silly and incorrect ad hominem attacks.

But let me be clear. Anybody in an e-mail can claim to be anybody. That means nothing. Quite frankly, I really don’t see how Ralko can “prove” the e-mail sent by a LGF’s poster by posting the headers since Ralko doesn’t have access to Johnson’s logs and do you really think Johnson would open his logs up to Ralko or be truthful if in fact one of his regularly favored haters were in fact sending death threats.

1.) Little Green Footballs is a heavily moderated hate site similar to Stormfront. It has an obsessed webmaster who will monitor it all day and night deleting anything deemed even marginally sympathetic to the race of people he hates. And he has a group of posters who will echo his every thought without criticism.
2.) If Balko gives Johnson the headers o of the threatening e-mail, all it means is that we have to take Ratface’s word for it that no regular poster on Little Green Haters was the one who sent it. Even though I supported the war, I respect his position and continue to visit this site.

First: Mr. Balko, I have nothing against you or your website. This little dust-up is the first I’d heard of The Agitator. From what one of your fans posted (who also enjoys LGF) I would probably be similar to you politically except for Iraq.
You and many others believe Charles has gone to far in villifying Islam and Arabs. All I can say is that LGF has well over 6000 posts to the contrary. An overwhelming majority are reputable and don’t stretch to make a the point.
The comments section is another story. There is hate, ignorance, stupidity to be found there. The “troll” label is applied with entirely too much ease. When you have 15 to 25 thousand people traipsing through your site a day and hundreds of people commenting that’s what happens. Seems a pretty good cross section of the human population if you ask me. There are also some very bright, knowledgeable and informed people who post there regularly. I’ll have you know that since this post a number of people have done some introspection too.
But this leads me to our poor Alzheimer’s ridden commentor Ronald Reagan. Just so we’re clear on the quality of “debate” espoused by the illustrious Ronald Reagan I’ll leave you with some of his comments.
