Remember about five years ago, when the AP inadvertently slipped a pre-written Bob Hope obit onto the wire?

Arizona Congressman Bob Stump expressed his sorrow from the House floor. Newspapers plugged the obit on their websites.

Hope watched the whole thing from home, while enjoying a bowl of cereal.
