Sunday, April 6th, 2003Some of you have asked how my shelf is doing.
Okay. None of you asked. But I’m giving you an update anyway.
My shelf is doing very well. Still behaving very shelfly. Still level. Still gently holding my stereo speaker in place. Soon I’ll invest in a digital camera, and I’ll snap a picture of the shelf for you.
The other night, a friend came over to watch a movie (Todd Solondz’s “Storytelling”). I showed off the shelf. I could tell it was difficult for her to keep her eye on the movie, what with the well hung shelf showing itself off about two feet or so above the televsion.
I have another shelf kit in the closet. Same style shelf — two-and-a-half feet by two feet. Black. With black brackets. Once I figure out what I have that would need to be put on a second shelf, I’ll hang that one too.
I’ll let you know how it turns out.

Im personally so tired of reading/watching/talking about little else besides the war–Im happy to read about a shelf. More importantly though, what did you think of “Storytelling”?
I think the shelf posts are quite comical.
I was considering posting a similar page on my website dedicated to the plant that I have successfully kept alive for several months. It’s a resiliant little plant, sometimes I forget to water it… but it’s very forgiving. Strange thing though, in all the time I’ve had it, it hasn’t grown at all.
