    Actually, not a freudian slip. I’m a lawyer, and other attorneys in the office (particularly partners) often assfist us youngsters.

    At least that’s one way of describing it.

    No, I don’t think it’s a typo so much as a left out couple of sentences (by the secretary). I’m sure what they meant is that the rates for the normal lawyerly duties are in the $100 to $200 per hour range. Assfisting duties are usually in the upper $300’s. Flat-out sodomy by an attorney is usually billed in the high $500’s (though I’ve seen them bill that as “representation” to give a price break). Actually, that usually breaks down into categories “voluntary sodomy”, “pro bono” ha, ha, and “quid pro quo, Mr. Balko, quid pro qho.”
