I always know it’s spring when, after the first weekend of NCAA Tournament action, I’m already out of contention in the office pool.

Illinois: gone. Louisville: gone. I have just half my Final Four left.

But there is at least one reason to keep watching. Go Butler Monkeys! Actually, the school’s nickname is “Bulldogs.” But it should be the Butler Monkeys. Whatever.

Today’s Butler-Louisville game might have been the best I’ve seen all year, if not for the Arizona-Gonzaga game last night. Just one clutch play after another. And this team was on the bubble?
