A Lesson In Point-Missing
Monday, March 3rd, 2003One dumb response to the TCS piece:
I wonder how Ralph NaderĂ¢??s funding compares to the funding of other ideologies. It would be interesting to know and then compare, say, how the messagegets out, who gets the message, and if that has any influence.
Of course, every example this guy lists is an example of (evil, evil!) corporations voluntarily giving to conservative or right-wing causes. So what? If Nader got ten times the money his ideological opponents got, but he got it legitimately, I’d have no quarrel with him. The point is he can’t get it legitimately. So he cheats. He tricks and manipulates and coerces his way to millions. That’s my quarrel.

That was a really stupid post. When you cannot face the fact that people you support just might be assholes that’s when the spinning comes out. It was probably Ralphie-boy himself. :)
Great article though. Keep up the good work.
