But at the same time, it seems to me that the Stones have been coasting for the last few albums, and their solo projects have been largely disappointing (except CW - his jazz stuff is cool)... Mick, Bono, Babs and Don Henley all are fine musicians, but as SNL pointed out recently with John McCain, I don't want my politicians doing musicians' work any more than I want musicians to involve themselves in politics.
