It's a great sign of foresight to be ahead of the curve...I'm usually in the middle of the curve...on bald tires...and ice...and I didn't put my seatbelt on...in my 65 Impala...with pointy metal dashboard...oh well, at least there is a drain plug for them to hose me out. Seat belts were those things you tied stuff onto the roof with. I swear I had a rear view mirror that doubled as a lawn mower blade. Sigh, I remember the days of the highly polished, steel reinforced, sharp and pointy dash boards. Hell for all I know there are as many drunks on the road as there were back then.
