John Poindexter’s life….

…has been spilled all over the Internet by hackers. I don’t at all condone publishing the address, home telephone number and satelite photo of the home of the man who wants to collect your addresses, home telephone numbers and satelite photos of your homes for use and potential abuse by the federal government.

That’s why I won’t link to the SF journalist whose column started the effort to give Poindexter a taste of his own medicine. It’s also why I refuse to publish on this website that the former admiral’s Maryland home phone number is (301) 424-6613, or that his house at 10 Barrington Fare in Rockville, Maryland looks like this from the air.

So don’t ask me. I’m not going to do it.

UPDATE: Very interesting. All of this apparently came about after big cheese at TIA surrepticiously removed their bios from the TIA website! That’s right — they want to know everything about you, but you’re to know nothing about them! Fortunately, an enterprising young freedom-lover cached the bios here.

    Some may find the biography of Poindexter available at http://www.warblogging.com/tia/poindexter.php too revealing to publish. It includes information about his wife’s religion, the church the Poindexters attend together, their children and grandchildren. Total Information Awareness is a bitch, I guess…
