Is our favorite renaissance man branching out yet again? Check out this priceless item from the New York Press. It seems that among other “recommended titles” for purchasers of Robertson’s book was a little tome called The Ultimate Guide to Anal Sex for Men.

I just checked Amazon. It appears they’ve corrected the “problem.”

UPDATE: C-Net reports on the story. I particularly like the Amazon official’s comments:

“It seemed to us that this is a rather curious juxtaposition of the two titles,” said Amazon spokeswoman Patty Smith, explaining the company’s decision to remove the link.

“Amazon conducted an investigation and determined these results were not that of hundreds of customers going to the same items while they were shopping on the site,” Smith said.

Don’t be so sure. Never underestimate the power of repression.
