Cato Stuff
Thursday, October 17th, 2002Three items of interest:
1) Ted Galen Carpenter answers reader questions on U.S. vs. Iraq. Required reading for warbloggers who want the straight dope from an eloquent anti-war libertarian.
Also, this whole “Ask Our Scholars” feature is a little idea I dreamed up to generate a little reader-interaction on the Cato website. So go click on it a few times to make me look good.
2) Dan Griswold on opening the border with Mexico. Required reading for anyone who’s remotely considering a subcription to Pat Buchanan’s “American Conservative” magazine.
3) Forum Monday on Robert Nozick. Stop by Cato — or watch online at noon — for a fun forum on the brilliant, recently deceased Harvard philosopher. Bonus remarks by another brilliant libertarian philosopher, Cato’s own Tom Palmer. For more on Nozick, read the interview Julian did with him for Laissez-Faire Books.
