I actually sorta’ dig Eminem. I thought the Marshall Mathers LP was an absolute riot. Funny, incisive, catchy, biting, and very cleverly rhymed. If you can get over the chopping up bodies/raping his own mother stuff — which is all referenced with tongue firmly in cheek, by the by — it’s great entertainment listening to him obliterate taboos, tip sacred cows, and mock high falutin’ celebrity culture. The kid’s got “evil genius” written all over him. I haven’t heard his new disc just yet. I bet I’ll like it. Still, this might be one of the funnier music reviews I’ve ever read. Wish I’d have thought of it first.

    I can’t stand Eminem. He’s been doing what black rappers have been doing since the begging and he’s no better than them. He’s a has been and hopefully he won’d be in the spotlight anymore.
